Speculations over the Bayern boss future plans have made headlines for months stretching back to last summer, with the former Barcelona boss refusing to extend his contract at Bayern Munich which runs out at the end of the season.
Reports coming from Spanish radio Cadena Cope says Guardiola wants a new challenge and wants to move to the premier league to manage city.
The reports reads that "Pep Guardiola will leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season and will train Manchester city next season" read the report.
Guardiola has decided he wants a new challenge. He considers his time at Germany over and will leave come the 30th of June. after three seasons with the German champions and therefore fulfil one of his wishes to coach in England.
Another Spanish radio Catalan Daily Mundo Derpotivo even goes as far to suggest that Guardiola has signed a contract with City on Thursday with a preliminary agreement having been in place as early as October.
The final decision is expected to be made after Bayern's Bundesliga match against Hannover on the 19th of December.
