Attempt by Barcelona to overturn their two transfer windows ban was unsuccessful as the Court of Arbitration For Sport (CAS) upheld the ban imposed by FIFA.So that means for the next two transfer windows Barcelona would not be Active.
Why Where Thet Banned.
- signing players that are not up to eighteen
FIFA rule states that international transfers are only permitted for players above eighteen unless the parent of that ward move there for non-footballing reasons or they live not too far from the club, that is 100km within them and the club or they are within that union, that is European union.
How WHERE THEY ABLE TO SIGN PLAYERS THIS SUMMER.
They where able to sign the players they signed this summer because their ban was suspended while they made their appeal.
WOULD THE BAN AFFECT THEM.
YES with their poor defence and ageing midfield, their ban is likely to see them suffer even futher this season.
