Kevin Strootman Ready to Snub United For La Liga Big Boys

Strootman made his return from a long-term knee injury in November, racking up three appearances in all competitions before the winter break in Serie A.
And the Roma midfielder has fuelled reports that he could leave the Italian capital after he talked up a potential move to La Liga giants Barcelona and Madrid.
“I do not see Roma as an intermediate point in my career,” Strootman told Voetbal International.
“Of course, a player who plays well here can showcase themselves sooner.
“Everyone wants to play with Real Madrid or Barcelona, but these big clubs are not scouting in Netherlands.”
