The Argentine midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer and the player even admitted that he was aware of the interest from the Manchester-based club.
Perez, seems to have now decided that his future lies in Spain rather than in England and the Argentine has revealed that he would welcome the move to Valencia if the Spanish club can reach an agreement with his current employers Benfica.
"Of course I would go there [to Valencia]. It's a very important club in Europe.
"I have a contract with Benfica which runs until 2018. If Benfica and Valencia reach an agreement, I will terminate it in order to sign the new contract," Perez said, as quoted on website Tutto Mercato.
