The Dream Team of Nigeria do battle against Colombia tonight 11pm nigerian time, The dream Team of Nigeria are looking to make it three wins out of three in their last group game clash with Colombia but they will be doing so without their key players such as John Obi Mikel  Oghenekaro Etebo to enable them fresh for their quarter final game.

On the other hand Colombia  need a positive result against Nigeria to avoid an early exit and it is interesting to note that In Moscow 1980 Olympic Games, Colombia beat Nigeria, thanks to a 55th minute goal by Benjamin Cardona which confirmed Nigeria’s exit. It was Nigeria’s last group game after losing 3-1 to Kuwait and drawing 1-1 with Czechoslovakia in their first two games.

Nigeria’s under-23 coach Samson Siasia has assured that his team will continue to take it one game at a time in the ongoing Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016.

Breaking:Team Nigeria on course for gold as the Dream Team advance to the Quater finals

Nigeria beat Sweden one goal to nil (1-0) to advance to the last eight of the football Olympic game as Sadiq Umar scored  the only goal of the match, the  match being a one sided match throughout  90 minutes as the European champions could not threaten the African champions, so as it stands Nigeria will go through to the quarter finals either as winner of their group or runner-up. Good job for coach Samson Siasia and his lads for qualifying so easily from their group.

Nigeria took the lead by Umar Sadiq in the 40th minute with a spectacular header given the keeper no chance, the header was wonderful but is the cross i admire a beauty to behold from Imoh Ezekiel.....
